Terms of Service

1. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, downloading, accessing, or using TATA, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13. Minors should use the Service only with consent from a legal guardian.

2. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate information and keep contact details current.
• Protect your device, third-party login account, and verification information. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Do not create accounts in bulk through automation or other means.

3. The Service

TATA offers pet profiles, reminders, health and daily records, calendars, expense organization, nearby services, bookings, content, community features, and the Pet Assistant. Some features may be in testing, released in stages, or vary by region.

4. Veterinary and AI disclaimer

TATA organizes records and offers general care information. It is not veterinary diagnosis, treatment, a prescription, or emergency medical advice. Seek a qualified veterinarian whenever a pet has an urgent symptom or health concern.

The Pet Assistant may produce incomplete or incorrect answers. Verify important information and never rely on an answer alone for decisions that could affect a pet’s life or health.

5. Bookings and third-party services

Provider details, prices, availability, and services are supplied by third-party businesses. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the service contract is between you and the provider. Cancellations, refunds, quality issues, and disputes follow provider terms and applicable law.

6. User content

You retain rights in content you post. To store, display, transmit, and operate community features, you grant the Service a non-exclusive, revocable license limited to providing and improving those features. After deletion, content is handled under the Privacy Policy, although lawful resharing and necessary backups may take a reasonable time to remove.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Illegal, fraudulent, impersonating, rights-infringing, or harassing conduct.
• Hateful, violent, sexual, animal-abusive, dangerously misleading medical, or otherwise inappropriate content.
• Unauthorized access, probing, interference, or damage to accounts, data, software, networks, or safeguards.
• Scraping, automated abuse, excessive requests, resale, or reverse engineering of the Service.

8. Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using or delete your account at any time. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when an account violates these Terms or creates legal or security risk, with notice where reasonably practical. Account deletion follows the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

Except for user content and third-party materials, TATA’s software, interface, brand, illustrations, text, and other content are protected by intellectual-property law. Do not copy, modify, distribute, or use them to build a competing service without written permission.

10. Changes and limitation of liability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features for safety, law, product improvement, or operational needs and will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or that third-party information is always accurate. Liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss is limited as permitted by law. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith. Subject to mandatory consumer or jurisdiction rules, the Taiwan Taipei District Court will be the court of first instance.
